Cookies by Dave T-Shirt Giveaway

When I was in the fifth grade, I was a Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Showing pride for my favorite team, I also owned a t-shirt featuring an iron on of their quarterback, Ron Jaworski.  One day, when I was in high school, I discovered this old t-shirt and squeezed my teenage body into it.  It was tight.  It was yucky.  Most of all, it was epically bad (in a comical way).  Since then, every March 23rd, I celebrate Ron Jaworski’s birthday.

Ron Jaworski, a.k.a. “The Polish Rifle,” in his glory days.

Well yesterday, I was inspired to do a little spring cleaning and tackled my closet.  Inside, I found another epically bad shirt (not in the least bit funny, however), my first attempt at “Cookies by Dave” apparel.  The logo is too big.  The layout is all wrong.  Most of all, it makes me look pregnant.  Pregnant with a big cookie baby.

So in honor of Ron Jaworski’s birthday and celebrating bad t-shirts everywhere, I am giving away my prototype “Cookies by Dave” white t-shirt shown below.

As a bonus, this shirt also comes with sleeves (not shown).

To enter, leave a comment at www.CookiesbyDave.com under this post entitled “Cookies by Dave T-Shirt Giveaway,” with your first and last name, and why you would love an extra ugly men’s XL size “Cookies by Dave” prototype t-shirt.  Comments must be posted by 8PM (CST) tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 2015.  A winner will be selected by whatever process I eventually decide upon.

Happy Birthday, Ron Jaworski, and good luck.

  1. The question isn’t why I would love an extra ugly men’s XL size “Cookies by Dave” prototype t-shirt.

The questions is why I *wouldn’t* love an extra ugly men’s XL size “Cookies by Dave” Prototype t-shirt.

    1. Kristie, Ask not what an ugly Cookies by Dave prototype shirt can do for you. Ask what you can do for an ugly Cookies by Dave prototype shirt! Somewhere JFK is proud. Not really, although extra ugly men’s XL size “Cookies by Dave” prototype t-shirts were very popular in Camelot. – Dave

  2. Dave, I need as many T-shirts I can get. Cookies by Dave can be the supplier and I can be the wearer and pass it down to the next generation of Cookies by Dave fans. They can say they are wearing the original.

    1. Chris, Excellent. You are in the running. Just realize that this was perhaps the worst product I have ever created, so for this contest satisfaction is far from guaranteed 🙂 Good luck! – Dave

  3. Greetings Dave,
This shirt would always remind me not to go back to the size of XL ever ever ever again. But since we don’t know what the future may bring… I’d might fit into it again. Then I would really really really need that shirt.
And do not forget I got you a pink panther as passenger for your first car.

    1. Sigrun! No worries, you are officially entered in the ugly Cookies by Dave t-shirt contest. Also, how could I ever forget our trip north in my baby blue Ford Escort? My favorite part was how you threw the map out the window in the days before GPS. Ha! Was that before or after the “Mystery Spot?” Also, there is probably a very old turtle crawling around on the beaches of Northern Michigan with an early 1990s State of Michigan roadmap fused to his shell 😉 Love, Dave

  4. This is why I should get the t-shirt: because I’ve done my homework. Meaning this…
Each word in the title, “Cookies By Dave”, starts with C, B, and D, the 3rd, 2nd, and 4th letters of the alphabet. This would be 3-2-4. In the midst of all your recent lamentations, I find it interesting that Lamentations 3:24 is this:
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
God is with you and yours, O ye “Cookies By Dave” prophetic voice!

    1. Jeff, I think you have stumbled upon “The Cookies by Dave Code.” Best visit the copyright office, before Dan Brown gets ahold of this 🙂 Yours in Cookies, Dave
