Looking for a cookie fit for the New Year?  Well, the Paulsen family holiday tradition is whipping up a batch of “Wait Till Next Year” Meringues (found on page 70 of my cookie cookbook, “Today is a Great Day for a Cookie,” which as always is available for free download at www.CookiesbyDave.com).  Prepare them before midnight, turn off the oven, let them sit in the oven overnight, and enjoy them in the morning.  Yep, a cookie that takes all year to bake.

Tomorrow morning, ring in 2016 with a batch of “Wait Till Next Year” Meringues.  They will help get your New Year started right, just look at the results from New Year’s Day morning 2010…
