Upon my return, I dutifully loaded each remote with a new set of batteries and then tried unsuccessfully in true middle age fashion to activate the remotes. Also trying to get the good ol’ Wii up and running, my 12-year-old son turned to me and instructed appropriately enough, “Stop pushing buttons.” Ah, the circle of life is complete.
