“Where in the world are Jacob’s socks?” – Reading, Writing, and Reproduction Edition

Yesterday, I left a pair of 11-year-old Jacob’s socks alone to work on his spelling homework.  What did I wake up to find?  A total of four socks.  Knock it off!  You are supposed to be working on spelling homework, not multiplication.

From the look of it, green stripes are a recessive sock gene.
