Turning the corner to enter my cube, I anticipated the start of another work week.  Another Monday.  Today, however was different.  Waiting on my desk was a new addition.

A framed note from the inside of a fortune cookie.

It read, “Your positive attitude is contagious.”

My friend Hoang had received the fortune over the weekend and felt that it was intended for me.

Regardless of the message’s cosmic routing, one thing was for certain.  My friend had started my week off with a smile and that’s an impact that should make any cookie very proud.
